The Technical Establistment for Thermal and Waterproof Insulation was established in 1996 as a sole proprietorship with a vision to meet the aspirations of development and construction in line with the urban renaissance in Kuwait. In 2001, the legal entity of the foundation was converted into a company named The International Technical Company for General Trading and Contracting, achieving a distinguished position among insulation companies.
Concept and Performance
Most insulation systems consist of two layers:
- The first layer is moisture insulation (Tarpaulin).
- The second layer is thermal insulation (Isophome).
Despite the lack of any chemical or physical link between them, there are several issues:
- The lifespan of one differs entirely from the other.
- The chemical compositions of each are different.
- The separation of the two materials allows water to penetrate between them.
- The financial cost of this system is high.
- It is impossible to cover the skirting with thermal insulation (Isophome) due to the difficulty of forming it.
Thus, the idea emerged to develop a spraying system using polyurethane, which serves as both a moisture and thermal insulator simultaneously.
Our Founder
Mr. Fouad Issa Al-Mazeil, a graduate of the College of Law, worked in the legal field with industrial and commercial inclinations. He is credited, after God Almighty, with laying the first cornerstone for the establishment of the company.
